  1. Agreed. I will no longer buy anything unless I hear the entire album first, Spotify (and MOG) has been a blessing in this regard.
  2. Been listening to a couple albums by Peter Banks' "Flash" and it's good stuff! Fans of the first couple Yes albums should really enjoy these. You can kind of tell he was flipping the proverbial bird to his former band on these records.

I love Richie Havens' version of "Just Like A Woman" from the 30th Anniversary concert, probably my favorite Dylan cover.
  4. Jon performing "Gigue" with Martin Mendez & Martin Axenrot from Opeth.
  5. That part must be in the "subscription only" section.
  6. Damn, this one really hits me on a personal level. Jon was the player that initially turned me onto the Hammond Organ and is one of my all-time favorite musicians. This one is really upsetting. http://jonlord.org/2012/07/16/jon-lord-has-sadly-passed-away/
  7. ROLL ROLL...ROLL IN ZE HAY!
  8. No problems using Snow Leopard, they loaded within a few seconds. Make sure your Flip4Mac plugin is updated.
  9. Pete, I don't think you have anything to apologize about.
  10. I've never liked The Three Stooges either, even as a kid I felt it was more stupid than actually funny.
  11. One of the best horror films of the past 20 years. I also enjoyed the sequel 28 Weeks Later (with Rose Byrne), though it's stylistically quite different.
  12. Interesting comment. I've avoided his movies solely because of his SNL work; I assumed he was another Chris Kataan. Okay, that was low... Anyway, I suppose I'll have to check one out now. You should definitely check out "Stranger Than Fiction", a very well-written film and Ferrell is perfect in it.
  13. After watching "American Horror Story" recently I'm pretty sure Jessica Lange would be a great in it.
  14. If it wasn't for Spotify I probably wouldn't hear any new music as the days of having any disposable income are long gone. I've only been to a record store once in 2012.
  15. Yep, I've been saying that for years, a classic song.
  16. The UK version. Highly entertaining show, the US version has its moments, but this version is much more substantial. Really enjoying it.
  17. I've been checking out a lot of different artists that I've come to really enjoy. Gentle Giant, Camel, Nektar, Can, Gong, Lucifer's Friend, Curved Air, High Tide, Atomic Rooster, Ash Ra Tempel, Van Der Graff Generator, Rare Bird, Aphrodite's Child, Focus, Premiata Forneria Marconi, Strawbs, Clearlight, Henry Cow, Magma, McDonald & Giles, Message, Barclay James Harvest, Eloy...and others I'm probably forgetting at the moment.
  18. For the past year or so I've been catching up on all the great lesser known Prog/Psych/Krautrock bands that I had "heard of" but never actually heard. What a wonderful journey it has been.
  19. Almost all the musicians that have most inspired me throughout my life.
  20. It's different, I'll give it that. Let's take every horror film cliche in history and combine them all into one TV show.
  21. That quote has already been proven wrong countless times over.
  22. I swear that every house in the entire area is setting of fireworks this evening, it's been a constant barrage for the past couple hours with no signs of letting up. I'm just hoping none come sailing through the window. One just blew up so close to the ground it set off tons of car alarms, a total cacophony. I can't wait for this holiday to be over.
