  1. It's a cheapo label (Palace) that released albums which included various tracks compiled from several labels. Nothing rare there. I would not spend more than a couple of € or $ on it!
  2. Tony Williams Select, disc 3
  3. Clarence Profit 'The Complete Clarence Profit 1939-1940' (Meritt)
  4. That's what you think No Ellington collection is ever complete!
  5. Auction went up to $510! Dippin'
  6. Oliver Nelson 'Meet Oliver Nelson' (OJC)
  7. If I was still in my buying days, I'ld be all over this... Some very nice items in that list! Good luck with the sales!

  9. Agree! It was my second reaction. The first one was: Wow! I also have strong doubts about the acoustics of that place!
  10. Albums from the MMO label not only provided rhythm accompaniments but also made available duets series. Musicians like Zoot Sims, Joe Wilder, Hal McKusick, Bob Wilber, Burt Collins, Kenny Davern all recorded for MMO. There is even a Jimmy Raney play-along album that featured Stan Getz!
  11. Zoot Sims and Jimmy Rowles 'If I'm Lucky' (Pablo)
  12. Great price for these original albums!
  13. 'The Message' might have been obscure when it came out but as Mark Garner remarked in his liner notes to the 1975 Xanadu LP reissue There may be surprise in certain quarters that five British critics considered this set one of the "essential" records of modern jazz made between 1945 and 1970.'
  14. Sonny Fortune 'Waves of Dreams' (Horizon)
  15. The various vinyl reissues of this album (Xanadu, FreshSound, etc...) I have heard are all needledrops!
