  2. In addition to Mal Waldron 'Mal/1', Sulieman was also on one of the two sessions that made up 'Mal/3'. Two other Prestige ensembles dates with interesting contributions by Sulieman were the 'Outskirts of Town' and 'Roots' albums.
  3. The Gumasia soundtrack is not mentioned in the pretty complete filmography that concludes the 'Shelly Manne. Sounds of the Different Drummer' which was published in 1997.
  4. The original vinyl was a gatefold job with an eight-page booklet inside. Beauty is a rare thing and those Artists House LPs were things of beauty!
