I hear this for every British series redone in America, and I never agree. It's like an automatic, knee-jerk comment from people: An American version of a British show? No way it can be as good! Nothing I've seen of the British Office makes me think it's as good, or even that similar. It's a different show at this point!

I use Sonic Stage Mastering Studio on my Sony PC. It does the track separation, with EQ, and other effects.

That was one on my list. They didn't have it here. I wonder if it's a regional thing. I was in two of the Ann Arbor Borders over the past week and between just those two there must have been 10-12 copies of it. Guess I'm lucky to be in Ann Arbor because it's nowhere near as bad as what others are reporting

The new Borders in Ann Arbor (the concept store I mentioned earlier) has a lot of box sets, in the usual glass case. And since this is a new store, I'd think that if they were changing their display that they would have done it from the get-go there. For the book-buyers among us, the new Borders is now placing as many books as possible face-out, instead of spine. Which means they have to carry less book inventory
