I knew nothing of Torn until I got Prezens through BMG for $6-something. Immediately I thought of Robert Fripp. Is there any connection between the two, besides the Levin/Bruford bands? Torn and the band from Prezens will be playing the Edgefest in Ann Arbor this October; I think I'll check them out

I am so fed up with this. Every single national game lately seems to be Red Sox!! Tonight's ESPN, yesterday's Fox, last week's TBS, last week's Fox, and on and on. So TBS gave up the Braves to show Red Sox about 90% of the time?? Why? They were going to be on every other Fox and ESPN game anyway!!! Why am I unable to see any of this exciting, young Tampa Bay team's games? Or Florida's? When do you ever see the division leading White Sox on anything other than WGN (and that's only when the Cubs have an off day or are on ESPN!)? One more reason why I am finding it more and more difficult to be interested in baseball anymore. I hate "Manny being Manny".

WinAmp, huh? I have to check that out; having to suffer through another lengthy, confusing session with iTunes makes me not even want to bother with the iPod.

the iPod is great; iTunes is awful. I hate iTunes. It is confusing to use. I routinely have to manually move things around so they make sense when organizing albums, because iTunes always seems to put things in the wrong places. I realize iTunes can only work with what is input, so errors are not its fault, but it is just so complicated! What is album artist, anyway??

I think it's his best since the mid-90s. I'd rank it up there just below his classics, actually. It's a great album. No Hidden Path, the other long song on it, is one of his trademark minor-key guitar epics, something like Change Your Mind
