WinAmp, huh? I have to check that out; having to suffer through another lengthy, confusing session with iTunes makes me not even want to bother with the iPod.

the iPod is great; iTunes is awful. I hate iTunes. It is confusing to use. I routinely have to manually move things around so they make sense when organizing albums, because iTunes always seems to put things in the wrong places. I realize iTunes can only work with what is input, so errors are not its fault, but it is just so complicated! What is album artist, anyway??

Dropped the employer 401(k) match.

I cant play it around the wife or kids; seems to scare them. the whole thing is on the ipod though, for my own personal pleasure!

Ann Arbor

I think it's his best since the mid-90s. I'd rank it up there just below his classics, actually. It's a great album. No Hidden Path, the other long song on it, is one of his trademark minor-key guitar epics, something like Change Your Mind

By now there's gotta be more threads complaining about Jarrett's noises than there are actual noises in one of his performances

I'll have to remember to check this out. I know very little of her music outside of the Giuffre records from the 60s and her ECM rarum. Nice picture of her, too!
