  1. actually, I'm glad I don't have to actually choose- I enjoy them all!
  2. Yes, that was me. Didn't he sell a lot of records? His 70s records certainly are acoustic jazz (some of his records were even non-vocal!)
  3. JuJu my man
  4. what year are these recordings from?
  5. wasn't Keith Jarrett selling a ton (relatively, of course) of records in the 70s?

    Dylan SACDs

    I paid $109 from CDuniverse-that's the discounted pre-order price! I can't stand waiting though
  7. well, this is from the yourmusic.com web site: Copyright © 2004 BMG Direct, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Definitely a BMG company-I'm sure everything BMG has is or will very soon be available in yourmusic.com
  8. who didn't Frank make fun of?
  9. Actually, Joe, if you decide to join you can get a couple recent Allman Bros, with Derek Trucks, for that low price. Check out Hittin the Note and One Way Out, which is the live set from the Beacon in 2003. Both are worth it for his solos on Desdemona (especially the live one) and Dreams
  10. yes. yourmusic.com is BMG-everything the same, even the invoice and boxes they use to ship the discs in. I don't understand it, but I like it! I've yet to have the backorder problem-I've received the Relaxin' SACD and the Lush Life SACD without any problem.
  11. This site is working great for me. I've been receiving monthly queue items since November, and an extra order, all just as advertised-$5.99 no S&H. And they seem to be sent rather quickly. The queue items arrive within a week, as did my extra order. Next up-Eric Dolphy Illinois Concert
  12. not an SACD. His worst would be Dylan, which is outtakes from Self-Portrait, his second worst album
  13. Speaking generally or just on this board? If the latter then I'm surprised you don't think a 10-1 ratio is not already adequate. yeah, 10-1 and they still couldn't win the election!!!
  14. i've never understood the fascination with Diana-I didn't think she was particularly hot or even all that interesting
  15. they're suddenly lightning-quick!! too bad none of these are SACD hybrids
  16. the level of chemicals in all of these solutions is really small. Nothing to worry about-although ethylene glycol is antifreeze....
  17. Looks like this is being reissued Feb 1: http://www.sonymusicstore.com/store/catalo...079&skuId=80085
  18. organissimo calendar perhaps?
  19. I'll make this at work tommorow-although I think all you really need is ethylene glycol and water. Sodium azide in high concentrations can be rather nasty though, producing a toxic gas. I think it's used in airbags in cars
  20. well, actually, I didn't buy anything- I happened to see that they had the Live in Paris 2-disc set from 1969, so I'm going back Tuesday to buy that-and once I can convince my wife that I NEED to get the box set, then I'm going to get that too
  21. Thanks-as usual, too lazy to do a search myself
  22. have a good birthday!
  23. My wife is going to the store next to Borders tomorrow, so I thought while she's in there I'd go in and get a CD
  24. I've listened to that Wilco album-I fail to see what all the fuss is about. I like Wilco, liked them a lot earlier, not so much now but I have a great respect for them for changing so much, refusing to remake the same album, etc (they are a lot like Neil Young that way), but if that's the second best album of 2004, then it was a pretty dull year
  25. I intend to pick up Tribute to Lester, The Meeting or Sirius Calling tomorrow at Borders. I don't have any of their older material (I'm picking from the above three because that's all Borders has), and I'm wondering which of these recent discs I should get first. I do intend to get the Nessa box and other older material eventually, but for now all I have to choose from are the above. Recommendations?
