Shorter won't happen. It's a session which never took off and Wayne (and MC) are agains issueing it. I believe we should respect the artist himself in this regard and leave it. I would like to see the Kenny Cox twofer, Frank Foster (with bonus tracks from his other BN date), Bobbi Humphrey - Flute In (only Lee Morgan date not yet on cd).

Some conns are being thought of by MC but nothing firm yet. Maybe we should make a new list and I'll talk to him about it.

Hello all, did anyone pick this new 3 CD set up already? I'm interested in the sound on this one (new remasterings in 24 bit I guess). Also I can't find 2 tracks which should have been on there: When I dream of you and A Lover is Blue (both on the Ammons 78's era cd and the Ammons all star Sessions with Stitt cd).

I saw the DH BB on the last North Sea Jazz Festival of the Hague one year ago with the new drummer Nate Smith........He knocked me down big time what a terific drummer that is!!! Much better imo than Billy K. so I'm really excited about this new release wich has Nate on it.

Indeed there's going to be a new RvG series in Japan in jewel case with all the bonus material which was on their US counterparts. The 2 CD sets with Complete Series on it has catalog numbers TOCJ-661xx. Not Korean but real Japanese cd's with the RvG remasters (sam as the US ones). The booklets in these are fabulous. Loads of Francis Wolff foto's and the original artworks are included, etc.

Why bother MC with this? It's a Blue Note cd reissue which he just produced. Nothing to do with Mosaic so please email BN in the US to fix this and NOT MC.

Compulsion wil be an RvG in March. Don't know about the Smith but I'll check again.

How come this so called castus format isn't working on a Apple? I've had no problems at all copying these for cd-r burns on regular (paid for) software. Oh and indeed EMI dropped it because they're scared for law suits like the ones Sony faced in the US.

forgot to mention the "probably" in the line so it's not confirmed. And 60 minutes cd's are not acceptable they are pretty good imo especially for such great music.

Don't know if this was mentioned earlier but my "real" Mosaic from the US doesn't have any squeeking in this track.
