Wow... how clever. Calm down, Bruce. All I said was that it was reported on Detroit radio that Darko wasn't listed on the playoff roster. My cousin in Michigan heard it-- he didn't imagine it. So thumb your nose at Detroit radio for getting it wrong, not me.

The difficulty seems to be those counties in the eastern part of the state wanting to go to Eastern DST while those counties in the western part of the state wanting to go to Central DST (both for obvious reasons). I have a feeling that this is going to be the deal breaker--figuring out in which time zone we will eventually land. It made it complicated, to say the least, when I used to travel for work. I always loved going to the southern part of the state because of the sheer beauty ; however, I always had a moment of panic every morning when I second guessed myself as to whether the county I was visiting that day was on "slow time" or "fast time". As for class basketball, what a piece of shit decision *that* was in 1997. (...being a former resident in Marion Giant-land in the 80's, there was nothing better.)

It was reported a day ago or so on Detroit radio (WDFN 1130) that Darko was replaced on the play-off roster by Darvin Ham.

I love Tank too. He's a regular with the Christian McBride Band, so I wonder how much he will be playing with Stefon. Then again, Christian will be touring with Pat Metheny and Antonio Sanchez in the Fall, so the CMB probably won't be touring extensively during that time. I only saw Harris for a short set at the IAJE conference in NYC in Jan '04 -- loved what I heard. I also sat in on a few of his panel discussions. Quite eloquent.
