  13. I've listened to it in a local music store. The sound is terrible. I agree with Ray: It's not worth buying.
  14. It is a very good set with a lot of enjoyable music.
  15. Yesterday I decided that the first week of the year is a good time to order a new set, so I called Mosaic and ordered the Buddy Rich set. One of the reasons for ordering this set is Harry "Sweets" Edison. I have a special and unexplained weakness to his playing.

  22. Joe Lovano is celebrating his Birthday today. Lovano is 53 years old today and I wish him all the best. Tones, Shapes and Colors will find the way to my CD player this evening. Kenny Werner sounds great here and of course Lovano also. The great Mel Lewis is another reason to listen to this recording.
