Lace Mill is doing stuff now -- was just there yesterday to see Karl Berger perform. Next ones definitely locked in are Apr 24, May 22, June 5 (I'll announce those lineups as we get closer, in separate threads). Also working on an Astral Spirits showcase for June 24. Beverly seems to be done.

Nice record. Astrorama (with Sato, NHOP, M. Hino, Masuo) on Liberty/Express is good too. The album with Michel Portal, Phil Woods, and Daniel Humair is a party.

yep. Always felt that way about Lyons/Taylor/Murray though some might disagree. @ep1str0phy -- are you listening to Akisakila on LP or CD? For what it's worth, the original Trio 2LP set sounds great to me. I was floored by the quality of the sound upon a recent revisit. And I think the sound on this digital release of the Town Hall concert is a bit fuller than what was on the Unit Core vinyl -- bass is more audible, etc.. Indent II and the large ensemble were never released on LP. Shame.

They look like puffed fish crackers. You can get them from vendors in Chinatown in NY among many other places. Good record too.

Always looked a little like Bluiett to me although the hair is a little fuller. The second label design has a David Murray-like appearance.

I assume it is because the pressing plants are so backed up, but it's really dumb and will just drive up the price. Have the Shandar LPs and the ESP CD but would love to hear the additional music.

same. I think Night of the Mark 7 is "better" but GBG is a pretty fine set. It's also not "rare" by any stretch, though demand is pretty high I guess.

I'm sure she was mistreated and victimized and her personality may not have been up for competing with these men. It was also a different time. Bummer scene all around.

CD is fine with me on this.

I bought the whole thing even though I have the LP. I'm fine paying a bit more for a project like this if it helps keep things going -- kicked in $10 on Bandcamp. The lengthy piece sounds great so far.
