Not necessarly, if it's so revolutionary it might well reduce solid things and their transport, in this sense we could even spare energy.
I like your optimism, porcy. You should be in politics !
Mike Westbrook 'The Westbrook Blake' ('Original' label)
Wayne Shorter 'Moto Grosso Feio' (BN UA)
Lalo Schifrin 'New Fantasy' (Verve original, stereo)
all for £25
This set is a favourite of mine to play in the car in the I-pod. I think you'll be impressed - and £40 is not a bad price at all. Check out 'Sound Pieces', 'Kennedy Dream' and 'Jazzhattan Suite' (aka Brownie woz there )
Occasionally seen in vinyl stores up and down the land, Bill, for £5-8 on either HMV or UK Columbia (can't remember which - Columbia I think - and maybe I have just been lucky with sightings). I always passed on it as it in that wonderful Mosaic Roulette Studio box.
Yes, me too. What a great player this man was, truly one of a kind. I don't think he's received anywhere near the recognition his recordings deserve and a very big influence on the more reflective stylists such as Kenny Wheeler.
It certainly helped on my 'Far Away Lands' too. Nice to use a cleaning agent that is relatively quick ie. 2 applications per side, no change of bottle.
So far, the results today have been very good indeed.
Art Farmer 'Gentle Eyes' (UK Mainstream stereo). Not much jazz content but a very beautiful album and 'Soulsides' is the dog's b****s.
Milt Jackson/Teddy Edwards 'At The Kosei Nenkin' (UK Pablo 2LP)
