I didn't buy anything on eBay for a while, today I was wasting time looking for some rock records of late sixties and I found that the average prices are definitely lower, at least 30%, then a couple of years ago. Am I wrong? And what about jazz records?

I just listened "Action" on a BN, NY pressing mono, and I had the bad idea to compare it to the Mosaic. I found the latest pretty dull and boring, in one word "disppointing". No clue on the booklet. On the dead wax there is "mastered by capitol" and "wally?".

After a careful listening I found that the word that describes better the session was "introvert". The solos seems to me more a introvert observation about music. All the session sounds like a polite conversation, where musicians are able to listening each other's ideas without imposing their personality, in this sense I like Blakey's drumming. For sure not a session with a strong interplay and drive, Jackie Mac and Mogie's solos are not the usual explosion of energy and genious, Blakey is not pushing the partners to the limit, but I like it. It might appear boring, but I think it's just different.

Well, what about Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter? I know he died and it may be of bad taste name him here, but I always tought that what he usually did in front of camera was just the opposite a true naturalist and wildlife documentarist, (I was one of them for a while) should do.
