  1. Maybe. Why is the dog's tail end cut off? This one makes me laugh.
  2. KC better get their shit together.
  3. Don't you mean maize?
  4. Yes! I've got a lot of love for Scott LaFaro and many others mentioned so far. I'll add one masterful piece of bass work that grabbed me the first time I heard it and still does. It's Fred Atwood on "I Have a Good One For You". (Warne Marsh, All Music)
  5. Not a fan but if I was going to eat some it would have to be Jelly Belly and not Brach's.
  6. Cool. I still have the disc and that is still my favorite track. Since I lost the notes though I never knew who to credit beyond Horace.
  7. The final season of Sons of Anarchy has not disappointed with all the twists and turns. Sorry to see it go but thankful they didn't just just mail it in.
  8. I have no idea which is the better but I know Shure and Grado are at least two companies that make them.
  9. Wright is without a doubt a nutty MF'er and ranks up there with some of the nuttiest, but these days it's too difficult to make a call on the absolute nuttiest. This thread does make me miss having a part of this forum to discuss current events of the political nature. Not that it's turned political, I'm just sayin'.
  10. JS, once upon a time when the BFT program first started you did one of the first several and for some reason I'm thinking you had a Horace Silver track featuring Schneider. Am I wrong?
  11. Looks as if the Cardinals are finished. Now I will officially say, go KC!
  12. Yep, I don't see Baltimore battling their way back from a three game deficit and they're already down two runs today.
  13. Sports = 566 with the double Entertainment = 0 (Not that I was doing all that great but went for the double and blew it.) Anything Goes = 324 with the double Music = 728 with the double
  14. Homeland is off to a solid start.
  15. My lady has over time come to appreciate a lot of the music I listen to. The fact she didn't care for much of it in the beginning was half of the fun.
  16. Come on guys, I think classifying some of the comments on this thread in the hate and sexist categories is wrong. She put herself out there and obviously wanted to draw attention to the whole thing, right? Since when is reviewing the reviewer off limits? Or is it just off limits if you don't think it's cute, funny or perceptive? To me the whole thing is like reading those fucking dorks writing restaurant reviews on Yelp that start by saying, "I really wanted to like_____________, but".... Hey, I couldn't write a professional caliber review to save my life, in fact I'm struggling with this post, so I won't deny her writing skills and ability, but I reserve the right to think the whole idea is silly.
  17. Wow, how sad. She was definitely one of the more memorable SNL cast members.
  18. I'm not keeping up with this forum like I used to so maybe you've been around constantly, but it was some time since I saw posts from you. Anyway, nice to see you here, catesta! I'm thinking of maybe applying for the May test. , I just started putting my toes back in the water after spending a few years away from here. Thanks
  19. There a long list that should come before they start talking about groups like Green Day and Nine Inch Nails. Whatever, the whole thing is just a big/bad joke now anyways.
  20. The plinth is still in really good condition but I've read various opinions on the web recommending you change out the old with something new like slate or a heavier wood. I have no idea if that is something that should or needs to be done. Thanks for the info on the Thorens guys and I'll check out Orange County.
