Listening to Dick's Picks Vol.16. . . another Fillmore set warmup attempt! Guess we may have another week or two to wait. . . I haven't seen a definitive date for release anywhere yet. Just read a nice page about Jerry's guitars. . . . Man, those Wolf, Wolf 2, Tiger, Rosebud, Lightnin' Bolt, etc. are fantastic beautiful guitars, I'd love to strap one on for even a few minutes. Also, from aural evidence, I really like Jerry's playing on the Travis Bean guitars. Those got a really nice sound from his touch!

I think both the Living Stereo and the Living Presence SACDs were offered in a package deal at first. . . . That may still be true at some audiophile recording sites. Also there are five or six Living Stereo SACDs available at yourmusic.com

Dan, sorry I missed your email inquiry. The McGhee has appeared on one of the Classics McGhee titles. The Brooks I believe has appeared on one of the excellent Ace reissues of her Modern sides.

I like all of this set! But the Braff stuff is my favorite! GREAT SOUND on this set.

I'm a tremendous fan of his body of work as well. Wish I had a few of his tenor guitars! (That Byrdland would be the one I'd ask for first!) I'm envious of the life he had!
