After reading Anne R. Dick's book, I want to re-read several Dick novels, and am starting with this one.

The Count on the Coast material (I know it via LPs) is great stuff. So yes, I agree with Jim. I'm going to get this. Been listening to Roulette Basie lately and that group of recordings so full of gems!

I've known about her for over two decades, but I confess I've never become enamored of her as you have. I have several Basie-related recordings and they're okay . . . but. . . . Maybe I'll revisit them sometime soon.

I keep reaching for this one. Such magnificent music and great performances.

A double "Tuco" viewing: Better Call Saul, Major Crimes.

I got three of these in (Coltrane, Burrell and Dorham) and am playing the Coltrane right now. I would be very surprised if anyone disliked the sound, very good mastering.

The Americans, Season 3--re-watching the season on DVD. No idea why this show doesn't get awards, it's quality TV. The 100, latest episode. Weird show, "teenybopper" in a lot of ways but hardcore science fiction, and I like it.
