  2. Helping the coffee to get me going.
  3. Fanatical collectors would have most if not all of this material. That's really going to be the case with almost anything the famil releases.
  4. Cover seems anachronistic though as the photo is much earlier than the sessions within.

  8. Just love Wild Bill.
  9. Thanks for the info. I'll probably get these at some point. I've always loved sketches, I can still remember late nights in a cold house I had in Burton, Ohio, listening to Sketches on a big console stereo, it always had magic for me. I don't think I've ever heard it in mono. I still have the GCPH, it's in my bedroom system now. I love that preamp, but. . . this Decware ZP3 is absolutely dead quiet, no noise at all, and so dynamic and full and three dimensional it's blowing my mind how good vinyl sounds. My digital rig costs about three times what my vinyl does, but sure doesn't sound three times better. I love both digital and vinyl, and realize how lucky I am to have the sound I have.
  10. Chris, those lps are beautiful productions in every way. I really do love the sound of them, and the covers are wonderful, the notes, they're just loving reissues. I need to complete my collection of them and will. I can only imagine the amount of work that went into these, and I can also imagine what a sense of accomplishment and pride to have completed them and have them out there as witnesse to her artistry. I only wish I could have been involved in work like that. Your contributions to the history and preservation of jazz are appreciated. I remember telling you about the Frog reissues on this forum. They're great too, but you were there first.
  11. I'm jealous. I take it they sound great?>
  12. Okay. I'm listening to more an more vinyl now and loving the sound so I wanted to mention it. If you run across them at a good price and they pass inspection I think you'd like the sound.
  13. Flurin, as Hans mentions the Columbia LPs sound very good. . . I have picked up four of the 2 LP sets easily and cheaply and enjoy listening to them.
  14. Glad yours made it!
  15. Well, there are some there that way, but not "generally" in my estimation. Anyway, the price for the two cd set makes this an easy recommendation to Porcupine fans.
  16. Granted, it's not the hires sonic wonder that is Anesthetize. Sounds good to me though, and not as bad as some (especially one person on the Hoffman board) make it out to seem.

  18. Most likely. It's not exactly clear what sessions some of these are from, but I bet I have them somewhere, in inferior sound of course, and perhaps with different overdubs or lack of same.
