  1. Hell, he was just here!
  2. Okay I confess. . . all the depressing things have stopped happening to me finally. . . the only real issue is my mom's health which is being addressed as best as possible. Really good things are happening to me now. Makes it hard to hang out at this depressing place! (Just kidding).
  3. I love motorcycles, and I've had a worse car accident than ever has been the case on two wheels for over a dozen years of riding. Slide, glad to hear you came out of that well. Gravel. . .bites. Keep the shiny side up!
  4. Praise be that all was as it was!
  5. There was also an earlier cd (jewel case) of NY NY, with original art, and that is what this poster is seeking.
  6. This material and all the other sessions sounds fantastic (to my ears) on the Prestige box.
  7. That stay in Sweden (of which there is a fantastic two cd set on Dragon as well) is a favorite.
  8. Bruce, keep the attitude and hopes high!
  9. I don't DISLIKE it, but I'm not over the hill excited about as many here seem to be. It just doesn't do "that" for me. That's cool, I like it, I've listened to most of these albums over the years with interest and the set is a very good one. . . but not one of my very favorite Mosaics.
  10. Hope it was great! Many more!
  11. Darn. I already have all these!
  12. Many more happy returns!
  13. Rock Around the Clock, Bill Haley and the Comets
  14. Hope it was great! Many more happy happy ones!
  15. Not one of mine. Johnny Smith. 6
  16. I might change my mind too. . . . I'm stuck on "You've Changed" off the third disc in the Dexter Gordon Mosaic Select. They start off just supporting Dexter so well as he does such a relaxed and so typically Dexter version. . .then it becomes a fantastic long and exploratory George Cables solo. . .man, it's so nice. .. and then back into a swinging statement from Dexter with the band just propelling him along. Love it!
  17. Sundog is right, you're losing a lot of what you paid for for those speakers by not having them out in the room. Why not run the other dvd player into the unused tuner input and not on the tv. I think running it to the tv is causing you the problem.
  18. There's restored edits to several of the Antibes tracks not available elsewhere as well. (By the way "I Thought about You" was/is available on the "Columbia Years" box).
  19. Once they release a Dead performance for Obama, I want that cover on a t-shirt.
  20. Gone with the Wind off the new Cassandra Wilson cd. No particular reason other than I played this one about three times this week and it stuck with me. Nice album.
  21. I'm going from memory because I haven't found my copy, but I believe the chord changes are So What/Impressions changes.

  23. It's your call. I will say though that the box set has the most incredible sound--better even than individual DSD remastered Japanese cds I have. Okay, not quite the same thing as the lps, but for cd sound, the set ROCKS.
  24. Yes, there are some tunes shared between the two sets. http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/5573093/Th...rs/Product.html http://www.amazon.com/Duke-Columbia-Years-...2/dp/B0002VEYF4
