I thought those Mercury albums were pretty good. They came and went really fast, if I remember correctly. The songwriting seemed more focused than on many of his other albums.

Excellent live album

I'm planning on buying an album or two on Friday. It's a good way to get $$ directly into the hands of the musicians. Of course it's great, and it's a classic ... but this recent box set is mind blowing!

This Rhino box was pretty good, although I haven't listened to it in a long time.

Sounds like he's doing OK. I went to his last broadcast game - it was against the Giants here in SF. The gave him a VERY nice send-off.

This 2014 release is surprisingly good. Lots of energy.

Yes a very good record. Nice to see Steve Wynn & Co. back on their game. Their new album just came out and is very different. Basically an 80-minute jam divided up into 5 different "tunes" with a few vocal and horn overdubs here and there. Getting a lot of press.

Still working my way through his Mosaic box. Some great stuff there.
