Well, back to the original topic: I would've have loved to get the whole 38 cd, etc., set, but at $800.00, what. the. heck. That's over $20.00 per cd, so I'm out. I'm just a an old hippie, I guess. Also, looking at the track list, I see Richie Havens is down for eleven songs, and I remember he did an interview where he said he spent hours on stage singing because no one else was prepared to go on. Hmm...

I thought the stupid ball was never going to make up it's mind to go in or not! Amazing moment.

Sad, she was a very good singer, actress, someone who live a very full life. RIP

Yeah, It does have a "Hallmark Channel" feel to it; staying in its lane, never veering to out right laughter, nor blatant bad taste, it's the very definition of middle-of-the-road.

Wasn't Dave Henderson, the baseball player, Hondo too? Sad to hear about Havlicek, he was a great player.

It was a nice merlot, the price was right (got it free), so I wasn't disappointed in it -- though I prefer Far Niente wines, (founded by the same couple Gil & Beth Nickel), their cabernets are especially good.

Nickel & Nickel Suscol Ranch 2014 Merlot. One of those single vineyard wines, not too bad either.

Dobie Gillis is also on AP. Cool show daddio! I'm watching on AP Corner Gas Season 1. Never heard of the show before, just looking for something different, and I can't tell if the humor is subtle or boring, but I'm hooked.

It really is a great movie. I discovered Powell & Pressburge movies about a year ago, and I've really fallen in love with them. There is a powerful humanism that runs through their films that I find attractive and enriching.
