B. Clugston
Dammit, I still need Lumps - it has eluded me for years and years... Nice catch! Now: Masabumi Kikuchi/Masahiko Togashi/Gary Peacock - Poesy: The Man Who Keeps Washing His Hands - (Philips, JP) Yes, you do need it--it's a great one. Waisvisz is a perfect partner--you can imagine what he does with "The New Duck."
Homefromtheforest
I'm not sure if it's from the same concert, but there's more of this excellent lineup on the roaratorio "sideways" lp!
clifford_thornton
I've heard Lumps before - dunno why it's been so elusive over the years. Some of the purportedly "rare" Lacys seem far more common. Sideways is a nice one.

Killer album that I haven't played in years.
clifford_thornton
Hot Lotta is a good one - although I always have filed it among Brötzmann LPs. Have No Room for Squares as a blue label UA and The Connection as a Japanese Toshiba mono...

Homefromtheforest
Hot Lotta is a good one - although I always have filed it among Brötzmann LPs. Have No Room for Squares as a blue label UA and The Connection as a Japanese Toshiba mono...I like "hot lotta" even more then "balls" or "machine gun"...it's got this sparseness and restrained thoughtfulness/intelligence to the sound which appeals to me a bit more then the reckless abandonment of some of the early FMP efforts...
