haha, will do -- maybe Dusty Groove will carry it. They never did get the Tubby LP set and I think just a few of the CD sets.

how are you using the term underfill here?

i haven't noticed major issues with my copy of that record but it's also my least favorite of the bunch, so I don't listen to it as much/as closely as the others.

I had some issues too with their reissues, not the box set, the single ones, got a replacement from Jazzmen after several emails, at first they pretended I send back the faulty copy at my expense, after some emails I sent an audio file with the problems and I got the replacement, not really the best customer service I experienced.

BTW great music I am going to listen to it right now.

I have a beat-up old original that somehow found it's way into my collection, a Nautilus "Super Disc" version and the one that's playing - a remaster/cut by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray from 2011 Record Store Day. It actually sounds very good.

Don't know, but after three of four emails and the audio files, I got a free replacemet, though added to another shipping so they didn't pay the shipping, only the plain record. My first copy had a couple of tracks frankly unlistenable.

Various Artists - Eight Trails, One Path (Three Lobed Recordings). A 2011 Record Store Day release. The LP is made like a matchbook, which is kinda cool if kinda impractical. The music has an acoustic folksy/country vibe. Here's the "matchbook look". Yes, the top half folds down and tucks into the edge below like a matchbook. The sleeve is stapled in place and doesn't come out.

I'd never heard of one of these guys before I picked this up but I do play it every now & then. You can "You Tube" all eight tracks here:

Mine doesn't look like that; there are a few light poots on my copy, nothing outside of the normal range of vinyl. I did notice a blip of distortion near the end of the track that may be a pressing fault, not enough to make me try to haggle for a replacement. I guess with close to 6000 LPs I have become used to vinyl imperfections. I was a little more bummed on the low-quality scans they used for cover art. But whatever, not gonna fork over the kind of money an original goes for, so...

great music, great pressing. Lee Ranaldo is probably the most well-known, having been a member of Sonic Youth.

Yes, it's a UK release. Had to get it when I found it. Actually, I like that title better, though the overall cover design looks a bit "low-budget"-y.
