Disc 7, for some much-needed Prez this evening:

Mine arrived in the mail yesterday; only through Disc 1 thus far.

Chose the Media Mail shipping option given the Postal Service needs the support just as much as Mosaic does.

Great work as usual by Malcolm Addey !

I’m must play this one. Picked up the LP for tuppence and perhaps as a result have hardly played it. Btw tuppence = £25 (in this case)...

The sound of some of those sessions (Birdland in particular) is phenomenal. Further helped by Malcolm Addey’s mastering - wonderful set.

I picked up the CD version for four pence under your units about a decade ago ! Don’t play it anywhere near enough. That will change !

Love this set!  I was finally able to get both it and the studio Roulette box for extremely reasonable prices about a year ago.  Thanks for your post, which is inspiring me to pull it out again.

One of the earliest ones I picked up (my very first was the Andrew Hill 1963-66 Blue Note... want to revisit that as well), and man, do I love it even more .  Woody Shaw in the mid-1970s to early 1980s...

Good as the Columbia box is with the extra CD, I’m particularly fond of this Mosaic too.

The Complete Hank Mobley Blue Note Sessions 1963-70 by Hank Mobley

Diiscs 4 and 5-the Caddy For Daddy and Slice of the Top elements.  Never enjoyed any more than I did this morning.

By chance, same here too - with addition of disk 3 ‘Dippin’’ too. Great stuff !

I don’t think ‘Slice of the Top’ has sounded better than it does in this version.
