Uncle Skid
I received an order I placed on 12/31 earlier this week. I guess I've just been lucky, but I haven't had any problems with delayed or damaged orders in two years of membership. I just logged in, and everything is $6.99 now. Stefan Wood
I'm waiting on two orders from yourmusic, placed between the holidays. I think a lot of people bought before the price raise, so that might be a reason why orders are taking longer.
jazzbo
Yes, there's an order I made the week after Xmas that still has not shipped. I've received an order placed after that! Go figure. Doesn't show as backordered either. Just logged in (still 5.99!) to check.
Ron S
Just logged in (still 5.99!) to check. So what's your secret?
T.D.
My 1/7 queue selection (Johnny Griffin "The Congregation") shipped a couple of days ago, and I was billed $6.99 + tax. Website has been showing that price for me since 1/1. I've never had any problems with late or damaged shipments, though their packaging for multidisc shipments seems weird: the boxes have always had manually scotch-taped tears/seams. Sundog
I still show $5.99/disc as well. Just ordered these to see is it actually works.... Takács Quartet Beethoven: The Early String Quartets 1 $11.98 Takács Quartet Beethoven, Late Quartets 1 $17.
jazzbo
Just logged in (still 5.99!) to check. So what's your secret? I think they were afraid of all the money they'd lose if I quit because of a hike!

I think they were afraid of all the money they'd lose if I quit because of a hike! Hmmmmmmm . . . . . . . I just tried logging in as "Lonson Jazzbo" to see what would happen, and the price went up to $8 .99/disc!
Chuck Nessa
I'm still getting 5.99.

edski
Dave Douglas: Strange Liberation. Am looking forward to listening to this one. The site has shown 6.99 for me since ~January 1.
riverrat
$6.99 for me, since Jan. 1. I'm glad some folks are still getting the old price, even if I'm not...but it is strange!
Ron S
It's pretty obvious that for some folks, the fix is in.
Tom 1960
6.99 here as well. As I stated in a previous thread, I ordered 3 Arthur Rubinstein discs about a month ago. The week prior to Christmas, I received the order obviously opened with only 1 disc intact. Since I work for the post office I immediately returned the discs with an explanation and to reship the order. Still nothing. I emailed them last night and have yet to receive a response. Hopefully we can get this resolved soon! Interesting enough, two subsequent purchases have been thoroughly taped. Maybe these guys have been getting an earfull of complaints about missing discs? In the meantime, lined up in my queue for next month is Tina Brooks' "True Blue". I have been thinking of exchanging it with Sonny Rollins' "The Bridge". Any thoughts here? jazzbo
They're both really good ones. . . . Both should still be in print for a while. . . . Can't go wrong either way.

GA Russell
In the meantime, lined up in my queue for next month is Tina Brooks' "True Blue". I have been thinking of exchanging it with Sonny Rollins' "The Bridge". Any thoughts here? I'm going to be the contrarian. I'm not keen on either one. True Blue is my only Tina Brooks. I enjoy it, and think that it's well worth the $6.99. But I've never thought it showed why Cuscuna felt that Brooks was worth a Mosaic box. I don't think it's that big a deal. The Bridge is my least favorite Sonny Rollins album. I think it's overrated. It's my only Sonny RCA album, and I'm curious to hear another to see if it is any better. Tom 1960
No upgrades here. Presently, I'm just trying to fill the gaps in my collection and yourmusic gives me great opportunities to do so. Of all the artists mentioned, only Duke Pearson doesn't have a place in my collection. Maybe that helps?
Chuck Nessa
Not really.
jazzbo
Filles.
Guy Berger
Filles. I only have two of those, Filles and the Horace. I like Filles better but you can't go wrong with either. Guy
Uncle Skid
Tom Cat and Indestructible! are both really, really good records. You can't go wrong with either of those as well, IMHO. I hope that helps!
GA Russell
I like Filles as well. But I believe that all of it is available in box form from Your Music (65-68 and Silent Way, right?). Considering YM's prices, I would recommend you get those box sets rather than CDs from them.
