Souffle Continu label to re-issue sessions on Palm Records

Khan Jamal's Give The Vibes Some is now being reissued, but not by Souffle Continu. This reissue was licensed from his family. Unfortunately unlike with SC this one is limited to 500 copies only and is priced much higher. Also no CD. Unfortunate.

plus $29.92 shipping to UK, ouch!  They did a very good job on their previous Jamal reissue, will have to hope a few of the 500 make it over here

Getting my labels mixed up here. Looks like this is on seriE Woc, an Italian label, not that that's making it any cheaper at £72 shipped!

I bought the non-art edition and it's very good.  That special edition does look nice though

Kindred Spirits did Funny Funky Rib Crib as a CD, and Jazzman did the Gilson/Malagasy stuff on CD.

Never had the Khan Jamal on Palm but would like to. The original has gotten very, very expensive.

Very disapointed that Give The Vibes Some won't be released on cd.Glad the family of Khan Jamal will see some bucks from the vinyl reissue..I still hope this will se the light of day on a cd sometime soon.

It's not yet listed on the Souffle Continu site, including SC Bandcamp, actually can't find it anywhere except Soundohm ATS

FE is great, they've been in the business for decades and do excellent work. They also have pretty frequent 10-15% off sales.
