Jim Dye
I thought about going for Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer, but Johnny Damon might want that user name. So I am now Irwin Mainway! Who was I before? I compiled Blindfold Test 8. Mainway Inc. Edited May 11, 2004 by Jim Dye

Jim Dye
I am using my real name as my user name again . I felt like a stranger when visiting and posting on the board as 'Irwin Mainway'. I've been using my real name on various jazz boards since 1996 so why change it? Jim Dye is BACK.

Rooster_Ties
I thought about going for Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer, but Johnny Damon might want that user name. I've been using my real name on various jazz boards since 1996 so why change it? Jim Dye is BACK. Welcome back Jim Dye. I've never understood the desire to change a given board name. Not that it really matters. But, why? It's the 'handle' the poster is accustomed to. As well, it's the 'handle' the board readers are accustomed to. I could understand if you'd just started using a new name, as a new board member, and decided you'd selected the wrong thing. But, after many posts and many years, why change what works?
