Shawn
Damn...I think I should find an excuse to go to Seattle this week... It's hot, humid and otherwise miserable here in Northern Va. It's supposed to be 98 tomorrow. JOY!
BFrank
I'm watching the Cubs/Giants on TV and they say it's 89 with 95% humidity. I can't imagine what that's like (the humidity, that is).
chris olivarez
It just finished raining here in Pagosa Springs. About a half inch of rain and it dropped the temperature to 60 degrees. I'm hearing more thundrestorm activity in the area. Could be more rain on the way.
kinuta
Typhoon. The humidity is unreal. The drainage from the airconditioner filled a king size bucket in about eight hours.
LAL
No rain, a little sunshine or whatever light that's able to get through. The entire frigging city's been enveloped in a thick haze for 4-5 days now. Quality of air is at 'hazardous' levels.
Claude
Quite a climate shock for me. I spent 3 weeks in Malta, where temperatures were constantly over 30° C, and now I'm back in Luxembourg with the lowest summer temperatures I remember (10° in the morning, 16-20° during the day). That's colder than winter in Malta! Edited August 11, 2005 by Claude

We may have, what our British press like to call, an Indian summer, where the temperatures hit 25 degC for three weeks in September . rostasi
About the same here in München. Absolutely beautiful with nice low temps for sleeping and bright, sunny warm days: 10° - 20°C! R°d
catesta
Had some serious rain on Sunday night. The temps finally came down the last couple of days.
catesta
Wet, real wet, and cool. Highs only in the 60s and rain all the way until Friday.

Maybe the South has had it better than the North (it usually does). I was up in York last week and, predictably, it rained. Always does when I visit. tonym
Predictably, August in the far north was bloody awful. Most of September and up to now have been glorious; open top motoring, short sleeves on the bike and balmy evenings outside the pub so far. Well apart from today which is warm and wet. catesta
Still raining. As much as I like the rain, we could use a few dry days.

Brad
It's pretty dreary around here today in Jersey. We didn't get rain for months now we're getting more than enough. I assume this takes care of the drought emergency in some towns.

catesta
A little bit of a dry out today. My cousin in Essex Fells New Jersey had a major flooding issue.

tonym
I've been photographing hot chicks all day in the cold, abseiling of a high, glass art gallery. But I didn't notice the temperature...
