The Magnificent Goldberg Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 Heavier than drizzle. Not too cold. MG Quote
Tom 1960 Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 We're expected to get pounded starting shortly and lasting well into tomorrow. The forecast calls for at least a foot and a half of snow. I'm really afraid to get an update. It keeps getting worse. That said, we've been pretty spoiled here. Here it is the middle of February and this is the first snowstorm of the season. Get me through the rest of the month and I don't care what March brings. It wont last. Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Sunny; quite breezy; not too cold; noisy - garage roof being mended (hope they get it right this time). MG Quote
chris olivarez Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Little chance of snow in the area for at least the next couple of days. Currently in the 20's. Quote
Scott Dolan Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 15, "feels like" 5. Considering how cold our winter has been here, relative to the last few, I can't believe we've never gotten below 0. I was reading 0.2 here one night in December, but that's as low as it's been. Quote
Tom 1960 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 We got about a foot of snow. Much better than the forecasts were calling for. While it's sunny here right now, the wind chills the next several days will make it feel like it's in the single digits, 15 below wind chills at night. Brrrr... Quote
mikeweil Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 We have the warmest winter in years - sunny the day over , 12° Celsius today! The first bees and butterflies in the garden since yesterday! But rather chilly around zero during the night. Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 It's been bloody pouring here almost continuously since yesterday afternoon - with a short gap during which we could get a distinctly unspectacular view of the lunar eclipse. This is the best part of Great Britain for rain. MG Quote
sidewinder Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 (edited) It's been bloody pouring here almost continuously since yesterday afternoon - with a short gap during which we could get a distinctly unspectacular view of the lunar eclipse. This is the best part of Great Britain for rain. MG Was over in Wales myself yesterday. The rain followed me back over the Severn Bridge and it's been pouring ever since ! Bloody UK... On the other hand, it does give one the opportunity to spin some more vinyl. Edited March 4, 2007 by sidewinder Quote
jlhoots Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 Springtime (I think) in the (southern) Rockies. Quote
chris olivarez Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 Lovely day here. Sunny and 48 degrees. Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Well, the continuous rain eventually stopped last night, sometime, to be replaced by continual rain MG Quote
John Tapscott Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Friggin' cold and windy! Down to -35 C tonight with the wind chill. Quote
Scott Dolan Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Gonna be in the 50's and 60's here for the rest of the week. Quote
Guy Berger Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 It's going to plunge to the mid 20s for most of the week. It's supposed to be March! Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Nice day! The roofers are back to finish the job on our garage that they had to abandon a couple of weeks ago due to bad weather. MG Quote
Joe G Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Somewhere between 9 and 12 F, depending on what thermometer you look at. I just walked by the state capital building, and there was a country band playing in a tent set up on the lawn. I peeked inside, and there were about 15 people standing there pretending to enjoy themselves. That band was really loud, too. My idea of hell - as a musician and a listener. Quote
7/4 Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 &@#$ing COLD!!!! fourteen days 'til spring. Quote
T.D. Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Another cold snap (maybe the last?...). Barely over zero right now, probably -15 or more tonight, no warmup until Friday. There are Weather Service "wind chill" and "blowing snow" advisories. Quote
Tom 1960 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 It was pretty damn cold working outside today around 15F or so. When the weather gets cold like this "Under Armour" is the way to go for me. I should own stock in this company. I own 4 Cold Gear long sleeve shirts and a pair of bottoms and while they're not cheap, they're worth every penny when it comes to keeping you warm. I also had to wear gloves and a hood. It could have been worse though, at least the sun was out all day. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 shit it was in the low 80's today Quote
