(RIP) Clark Terry's health

Yeah, the trumpet section of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra recently all went to play their regards to Clark. There were photos posted here a few months back.

The family requests prayers for Clark. I am continuing my prayers for both Clark and Gwen, his amazing wife. They both possess the strongest spirits.

Very sad , a real gentleman of the music and a reminder of a bygone era. He had plenty of style, soul and charisma.

His Riverside Duke with a Difference LP was one of the first records I bought back when I was 16 or 17. It introduced me not only to him, but to a number of Ellington sidemen and to some Ellington tunes. I still listen to it.
