  2. Discs 1 & 2 with The Kicker, Tetragon, and Power To The People.
  3. I don’t know why you feel obligated to send them the money after you sell it. They’re a fancy bootleg label anyway. They release stuff outside the EU PD date (1962) and don’t license from the artists… at least that’s what Stan Getz’s estate has said.
  4. Today
  5. That's kind of a strange release. I looked on Amazon and it had a pic of the contents, which despite the tacky packaging were pretty good mainstream jazz stuff from Blue Note, Roulette, Pacific Jazz. Apparently this Battleguard-Twilight label is some sort of Capitol subsidiary.
  6. I am OK with the Brewers sending Peralta away though I wouldn't have chosen the Mets as the destination. If it helps the Cubs win the division, its OK by me.
  7. Alan Silva & The Sound Visions Orchestra. Eremite Records MTE026 [US 2001]
  8. 32 degrees and a little bit of snow overnight, but none expected today. A bit of a blessing. Lucinda and I plan a nice walk today. First day this week “something” wasn’t scheduled that takes up chunks of our time. Staring off the day with this excellent disc of “warm weather music” --Paula Morelenbaum “Bossarenova” with the SWR Big Band and Ralf Scmid. Paula’s lovely voice is a nice way to ease into the day, and these arrangements are fun to listen to.
  9. January 22 Alan Silva - 1939
  10. January 22 Eberhard Weber - 1940
  11. January 22 Maarten van Regteren Altena - 1943
  12. Great record and great reissues. I already have an lovely sounding 70’s repress. I was hoping for Canyon Lady or Black is the Colour
  13. I will give them time to respond, then I will sell the duplicates and forward them the net money.
  14. Tell us more about this cassette. Did you digitize it?
  15. This is good news. They do a good job on their reissues and always provide them via download as well.
  16. I thought about that, but chose to not write it 😀.
