  3. If there was a past thread, please direct me to it. Otherwise I welcome some recommendations. Thanks!

  5. Revisiting Out Of/Into “Motion II” Blue Note cd So glad this new “supergroup” have released a second. And it’s very good! Pianist Gerald Clayton, alto saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins, vibraphonist Joel Ross, drummer Kendrick Scott, and bassist Matt Brewer
  6. Thanks! That's a great example.
  7. It is reaching over into hyper-Jonny Quest territory and is entertaining as such.
  8. More snow, and our furnace is acting funky; beyond my ability to solve though I’ve kept it going with frequent visits to the root cellar. Waiting on a service call back. Continuing on with my Yes re-visit with “Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe”
  9. I would think a Christmas delivery unlikely.
  10. May 27, 1965 Raymond Ross archive
  11. Opinions on this one? I'm still a Kenton neophyte. Listening to this album right now. I like it so far!
  12. yep, have all of these on LP or Cd, and they're fantastic indeed.
  13. ah, thanks. I don't own any of the ESPs on CD.
  14. Strata-East CD reissues in the house! Now playing:
  15. Late

    Joe Henderson

Much agreed. When I was younger, I couldn't get with Joe's backing on this record. I "only" liked his solos. Thankfully, I grew up (some) and started hearing the whole record. I wonder what Joe thought of his 70's records; there's probably an interview out there somewhere. Dig the In Japan photo without text!
  16. Have them all, but some of my very favorite Lacys are here, in fact maybe almost all of them! The Door, Cliches, The Rent, Blinks, Sorite/Disposibility, The Way, Beat Suite, Evidence .... doesn't get much better.
  17. I think they are all on their recent CD reissues.
  18. Is Santa gonna be able to deliver this on Christmas, or am I going to have to wait until January for a birthday gift?
