Recently, a good friend of mine gave me his old Adcom GFA-555 power amplifier, and I decided to integrate it into my stereo system. Since the amp is vintage, I had it serviced; happily, it came back with a clean bill of health. The technician only had to make minor bias adjustments. Next, I had to buy a preamplifier (since I was replacing my old Marantz AV receiver). After doing a bit of research, I ordered the Schitt Saga 2. It arrived in the mail earlier this week, and I've got everything set up now. Honestly, I amazed at how much difference the new amplification makes. I expected improvements, but there's been a huge leap -- especially in the bass. I'm super-pleased, and the system is sounding great!

I was in the same situation as you & bought this set in dribs & drabs over 4 years (2001-2014) only missing out on disc 2 where an Organissimo member burnt me a CDr also back in 2014. That same year I also scored a booklet from Mosaic. Normally I would have photocopied this on an A4 scanner (do this for a jazz friend in Sydney, particularly the Mosaic sets). I came a cross an alternate method today ie use a scanner iPhone App ie Adobe Scanner - I've managed effectively to scan the whole booklet as a PDF file - it's 27.9MB - I could send this to you via Dropbox if you like?

Offered for sale is an amazing, and not very common, Black Sabbath box set: Black Sabbath - Black Box: The Complete Black Sabbath 1970-1978 (8 CD/DVD), Rhino, 2004. Everything (outer box, CDs, CD sleeves, DVD, hardcover book) is in Excellent condition. The outer box shows a little shelf wear as is typical of this box set due to the black felt covering of the outer box but it is in better condition than I usually see it in. Also, one of the inner CD cardboard boxes (there are 2 inner CD cardboard boxes that each hold 4 CD digipacks) has a little rubbing to one side edge from it being pulled in and out of the larger outer box. This is probably the best Sabbath CD box set, in terms of mastering (sound quality is amazing) and packaging. Check reviews on discogs (see link below).
