Last night, Ms. TTK and I were out having dinner with my bro and his wife. The musical selection was very good. At one point, a singer came on. My brother asked who it was. I listened. "It sounds like Rosemary Clooney," I said, noting the combination of her vocal quality, with that slight bit of rasp. So I took out the Shazam machine, but by this point, the soloists were blowing, and I couldn't get a read. Finally, Rosemary Clooney or whoever she is returned, and the Shazam machine told me the song is "Treat Me Rough" by Betty Bennett. I don't think I have ever heard of Betty Bennett. Any fans?

Didn't realize that the final season had started airing; will watch it after I catch up with EVIL this month.

Watched the final episode of Star Trek: Discovery last night. Sorry to see it end after all of these years. Loved the arc of the stories and the characters. Noticed that the last episode was a half-hour longer due to their desire to wrap up the series after they were told that it wouldn't be renewed - this, after they had already finished the season's filming, but it was done tastefully and in a somewhat unexpected, but engaging way.

Thanks, I have been living under that misunderstanding for years now

It isn't part of the series. It is the preceding album. I rate it really highly. It's one of his best.

Thanks!!

Bobby Watson told me in an interview that he was trying to stay a little longer with Blakey when learned of a gig that he wasn’t told about and that’s how he learned that Blakey had kicked him out of the nest to encourage him to go out on his own.
