    Met Jack Somer back in the day. Middle weight corporate record company guy with jazz as an interest IIRC. There were a bunch of those - they thought the "interest in jazz" would impress the suits above. As far as I know he did no harm and did some good.

    Not to shit on the topic; I have lived with this all my life and have survived. My friends have survived as well. Each of us are on our own trajectory and will deal with stuff as it comes. Insecurities are nothing to sneeze at but this is not one of mine.

    Agree this is a great session I remember my old friend Bob Porter complaining about having to edit out all the Freeman (unaccompanied) codas. Bob just didn't "get" Von.
