  1. Saw her tonight at Iridium, as well as last night at the festivities. What wonderful spirit.
  2. Savoy bought an Ammons session and maybe a Leo Parker - not at home to check. All the rest is owned by Delmark. You should check out their catalog.
  3. I suggest you contact Delmark - they own the rights. They may not know of that 12". They might want a scan of the cover.
  4. Expect to see her in a couple of days at Lincoln Center.
  5. What an amazing achievement!
  6. That should read differently. The Arista issue was at least the 2nd issue of this material. I would think this would be important to someone like you and the profile you project.
  7. I am amazed so few of you had the lps or cd reissues. Major bummer for me.
  8. The band I started my company to record.
  9. IIRC, after Mobley left Miles led a sextet with Stitt and JJ. Have a photo somewhere.
  10. Mentioned that a few minutes ago.
  11. Love their beef. Like their hall.
  12. I see I can get a bachelor's degree in the music business. Too late to help.
  13. If you don't have the original or a good cd, the last resort is an expensive vinyl repressing of some sort. This stuff gives me chills. Music rules.
  14. Same thing happened when we resided the house and put in new windows - the only year you could not get a credit.
  15. Wanna see my pics? I could post 'em.
  16. All the ones I can find expire 12/31/11.
  17. Hope you can keep it that way.
  18. That might work in GA.
  19. Gee, the topic title had me thinking of couples. Thinking of buckskins and bodices. My bad.
  20. Woke up early this morning because I knew I would need to clear snow from the drive. Noticed the house was cold and discovered the furnace died. Went out to get the snow blower out for the first time this year and it won't start. Shoveled the drive by hand and have to pay $3000+ for a new furnace. Happy New Year.
  21. For SteepleChase Dex I suggest the various Swiss Nights volumes, Something Different, Lullaby for a Monster (in that order) and then the rest.
