  1. Which coupon do I need to get my friends over the border?
  2. Original UK? Ah, the collector. Not how does it sound.
  3. Ann finished planting our vegetable garden out at the "farm" today. She's very pleased to have that done.
  4. The dicks. Wonder how many Organissimites checked out the website in the ad?
  5. Different and interesting. If you don't get Braxton, forget it. If you are looking for boxes, get it. If you are interested in music, get it.
  6. Bought a player in '84 and my first cd was Billie Holiday The Silver Collection - still the first one I reach for to get her at her (late) best.
  7. I suppose u be talkin' 'bout the town, not the Chicago neighborhood. I was ready to join you for a healthy feeding of Freeman, Condon, Tough, etc.
  8. I don't even know that one, would like to. The Howard came to mind because it is another ESP-Disk from the same era. Cool record from '63 with Don Cherry, Clifford Jordan, Charles Moffett et al. Very scarce custom-label thing that doesn't circulate much. I always thought Revealed was a mess and no one would mention it if it wasn't rare. Those with a copy call it a masterpiece.
  9. No one denied the act. The act was overpowered by the "qualifiers".
  10. Cashed in on the Yourmusic sale (buy 3, get a 4th free) to empty my queue and drop the service. No recent issues of interest - jazz or classical. Getz/Almeida Jarrett - Treasure Island Kuhn - Mostly Coltrane Carla Bley - Appearing Nightly
  11. I think many of the Capitol recordings of "up" tunes were too stiff to swing. He made adjustments later but... I have a lot of problems with Sinatra as an icon of anything but some of the ballads are top notch. Sort of like my problem with Mel Lewis.
  12. Rupert Kettle Rupert Murdock Doc Boggs
  13. A strong contributor to "new beauty" in our world.
  14. I would guess only the involved parties.
  15. So if there was a culture where "deflowering virgins" was a national sport/spectacle, we should think it's ok?
  16. Then Horace would not have had the production costs paid.
  17. I thought that sound was missing the hole.
