  1. Two additional tracks were recorded at a different session and issued on a 45. These have been reissued on an anthology according to Jack Lefton's AEC discography site.
  2. My copy of the cd (OJC-326) lists Ballad for Baby as a bonus track. They probably found the track and forgot to tell the art department. Subsequent printings were corrected.
  3. all of your options either accept paranormal stuff or suggest you are nuts/misguided. if you really need help, why a priest? Is this your only option? you might not really believe or you could be putting us on. we are expected to believe your interpretations of things. maybe something else is reality. not dumping on you, just looking for other options.
  4. This will take some time to digest. I may or may not respond later. At this point, I wish you all the best.
  5. I would not worry.
  6. Not sure I would use the words "tremendous" or "Master" for Smith. Why can't one just recommend something and leave it at that?
  7. The second Dameronia is out now with some added material.
  8. Sorry to hear all these folks in other "worlds" are hooked on US shows. They might be fine but I hope for other input.
  9. Jimmy Jones was an important figure in Chicago and beyond. No time to spend on this now, but I didn't want the last post to stand. Anyone have the Classics cd?
  10. Everybody did it for a while.
  11. Interesting how the performances change as the years go on.
  12. Many of the members of that forum were booted off the Hoffman forum. I'd expect better.
  13. Wish I could send you back to the '70s.
  14. Ariola was a German label and morphed into BMG.
  15. The Byas material was coupled with Ben Webster/Sid Catlett titles on an early Commodore cd shown HERE.
  16. Be careful with those keys.
  17. G'bye Dale.
  18. Everyone should check him out on the recent Bill Dixon set (Tapestries for Small Orchestra). This is a wonderful set of 2 cds and one dvd. The dvd is worth the price of admission. It is on Firehouse 12.
