  1. Not sure but if you find one be sure it has orange labels. The first pressing used stampers/metalwork I'd rejected and were recalled but a few hundred never came back.
  2. Wilkinson Blades Reuben Blades Earl of Sandwich
  3. Interested parties might find remaining copies at Verge, Jazz Loft, Tower and the Jazz Record Mart too.
  4. I currently have 17 in my queue and 3 items in my cart. I don't have any problem finding a $6 purchase every 30 days.
  5. Does this include the stuff "dropped" a couple of months back? I know I "lost" about 3000 in my tally.
  6. Met Lois in the '70s when she was married to Cuscuna (stayed at their apartment a couple of times). I always thought she was smarter than she seems right now.

  9. You left off the New Haven Street address! Sorry, it was PO Box 102, New Haven, CT 06501. That was in 1981.
  10. To bad you weren't at the rehearsals and sessions. I will die with memories of all this stuff. I will also remenber your piece in the Trib. Nice to see it's in the book. Thanks for paying attention. Nonaah is in the works. I should be in the studio in a couple of weeks.
  11. I thought he was a plumber.
  12. Seems to be milk from a very tired cow.
  13. Geez! try a search, or just read today's topics.
  14. I went 2 (maybe 3) years ago to see/hear the band play there and it was a hoot. The gig is at a restaurant / bar and they play on a canopied deck. A storm came in and the combination of music and weather was really interesting. Oh yeah, driving home that night I went blind in one eye! Thanks to a great doctor and steroids I have 90% vision back. They owe me. It's raining again tonight. I hope the gig goes splendidly.
  15. Thank the gods you answered that. I was beginning to think I didn't know what I had done.
  16. Jim, go tell Brenda. She'll be really impressed.
  17. She needs a dj with a large collection. Maybe a dj named $200 Mark.
  18. Creative Improvisors Orchestra - The Sky Cries the Blues. Green label, Wakefield pressing, New Haven address.
  19. I understand and like Sinatra - I have 10 cds and another few lps. I never thought he could swing, though he does have other qualities.
  20. I don't remember when our kids were 17.
  21. Stupid, sentimental crap deleted. I blame a change in my meds. Thanks for your patience. CN
  22. Do you get to decide what the "clarinet actually sounded like"? Which system - they sound very different.
  23. Both the Wallington and Brubeck are worth getting. It's a win/win.
