Bunch of regret about these going out of print - and not on my shelves. The FF were a group I saw live (3 or 4 times) in my early jazz days. Nostalgia tugs. I like Bailey a bunch but can't justify the $$$. Maybe in my next life I'll win a lottery or something.

IMO, Roscoe's most recent recorded work is far beyond anything Moye has ever done. Jarman is not in good health and is not playing well for some time but his "conceptions" are beyond Moye. Don Moye is a master percussionist and I mean no disrespect to his work - it is just on another level.

I wouldn't give up a chance to see Roscoe Mitchell live. Especially when he is on stage with Moye and Jarman! Well, I skipped - went to a fashion show instead.
