Who cares?
I do. Clem is great for cleansing the palate and getting back to basics (ie: reality) once in a while. Other times it's just BS but he keeps thinkers on their toes.
Clem's good folks.
Money on the way with two caveats: Gotta pay for Bush's war first and then I gotta get a big check from Bob Koester. Both are promised.
As I reflect on the above, I need Bob's money before anything happens.
30 or so years ago when Michael Cuscuna was first exploring the BN vaults he told me Alfred Lion was "scissors happy". Made me feel better since I edited the first date I ever produced in 1966 - Roscoe Mitchell's "Sound".
Used to know and enjoy David's work back in his Chicago days. He sent me a copy of an earlier release called "Every Corner" with Mike LeDonne and Billy Drummond on board. That's a good one too.
Anyone?
I just checked the booklet and there seems to be no remastering credit listed. Original session engineers are mentioned, but that's all.
I think that's why he asked. Who wrote the liner notes?
