Dan might be/have been a fond memory, but I remember the Kharma lps of great musicians in terrible sound.
Rick's Groove Yard is still in business. I talked to him about 10 days ago. His operation is currently at 5555 Claremont Ave, Oakland.
Rick is a great guy to do business with. I have been working with him since 1975.
I used to have a stereo HiFi and the pressing was wonderful. I upset Lester Koenig by mentioning I preferred the original mastering to the Contemporary reissue. I did think the image was sharper and the highs were crisper.
Ed Michel told me Les was irritated for days.
Ann, our 2 adult kids and I will spend the next week in Dubois, PA. I don't think any members are close, but.............
If you are near, we leave very early on Friday morning.
Otherwise, sorry for the intrusion.
I think there might be 16 hip folks in the greater Mount Pleasant area. Hope they come.
SEK and Mike Johnston are two and they know the rest - now build a list. Maybe you can get folks from Alma.
I think Sackville returned the tapes to Roscoe 'cause they could not remove the tape print through for cd release.
Probably never see a "silvering" of this record.
Leaving early Friday morning for a road trip to Dubois, PA. Wonder what the price/supply situation will be then - or the return a week later. Time to redo the vacation budget.
