I'm surprised that they did.... That runs counter to my experiences with them.... :unsure: Even if times are hard that's very bad, if they don't have it and don't know when they're going to get it, they shouldn't have charged you.

Day 1 - An AMAZING duet session with Branford Marsalis & Joey Calderazzo.... :excited: An awesome set from the Joshua Redman Double Trio... :excited: A very good (not great) set from Esperanza Spalding... I'm off to Day 2... Really looking forward to Michel Camilo and Joe Lovano US Five...

More power to you.. seriously.. No matter how I tried I just could NOT get into this set... :unsure: This is the (and hopefully will always be) ONLY the Mosaic I've ever gotten rid of... Hopefully someone at my local library will dig it more than I did....

great thread... I've always been wondering about this set... It's odd since the Mosaic website doesn't have any soundclips... After reading this and listening to the samples... I might have to add this to my wish list... :o

It was a bit harsh.... particularly... the "Ms. Pepper lobbies hard for the ’70s as his prime period, when he had finally made it through jail, drugs and rehab, and found a synthesis of his past styles." Good man.... :tup I had one of the CD's before.. but the price was GOOD for two other live sessions + a DVD.. I was reading the liner notes and it's a nice little box.... Unfortunately I suspect it may one of the only Griffin sets we'll get... Mine is still in the mail. I think more people would be into it if they didn't already have quite a bit of the material. Right now I'm grooving to the Canadian Universal Oscar Peterson set.

When I called them - they said they were waiting to get the sets from their distributor... They thought the sets would go out Friday... :(hopefully)...

Wow.. 50 Herman sets gone in a few hours! That's impressive... Glad I got mine.. I was told it was shipping on Friday... I don't know if I'll like it.. but I've let one too many go by that I waffled about... Very happy I got a second chance... :excited:
