(In the Car) Duke - The Reprise Studio Sessions DIsc 1... Hey I got a question for you guys... I was able to get this one in the long box format years after it went OOP... I've never seen a Mosaic in the long box format other than this one... What's the story with that???? :huh:

This really is a great thread... As I mentioned in my other post... Just ordered the Private Collection Vols. 6-10 as a box for $30.00.. :cool: I'm assuming it will be great.. not to mention that it's disappearing....

Ordered my copy @ Amazon for $26,99 along with Ellington the Private Collection Vols. 5-10 for another $29.... Not a bad take, huh???? :blush:

This is one of the few Mosaics I missed and am damn disappointed... :angry: About the only good thing is that I was able to track down a digital version of this and the Nat Cole box....

Used my gift card to grab the Django set... I'm suspecting it's likely to be one that goes OOP soon...

Disc 2 - Ms. Holiday, the Complete commodore & decca masters... there will never be another Billie. :blush2:

The Jazz Crusaders is a great set...

First Half of Bing Disc 5 (Digital version)... I have to say this set (along with the People Time Complete Recordings) are going to make my top 10 of the year!

Having just gotten through the set over the last few days... I have to say it's fabulous!!! I enjoy different versions of the same tune (especially live)... The chemistry between the two of the them was outstanding... ! Highly recommended! :tup
