Oliver Nelson Disc 2... 2nd go around on this set.... I liked it a lot better than I thought I would... now an out or order Disc V..

Just finished Disc 3 and I'm liking it a little more... but I think you're right I listened to the clips on the Mosaic site the other day and I wasn't impressed. Lift music as far as I could tell. Perhaps their live session might be a better place to start. I'm a big fan of the Jazz Crusaders but the live albums are their best work by a long chalk. MG

Just finished disc 2... still a bit disappointing....

Jazz Crusaders - Disc 1... I'm finding this a little disappointing.... Hope it gets better....

Finishing up the recent OOP Classic Capitol Jazz Sessions... Disc 12... It was worth every penny.... I hope those of you who were in doubt, took the plunge. This is really great stuff....

Up to Disc 4.... and I'm really liking it... It was a lot of $$$ but I'm really glad I got it... Hope there aren't too many people regretting letting it go OOP....

Classic Capitol Sessions Disc 2.... I don't know how often I will listen to this set... but I do like it....

No matter how they're doing... I've come to realization (sign of getting older) that good things don't last forever... At some point it will cease to exist and we will all be quite depressed until we play those Art Blakey, Lou Donaldson, Art Pepper, Tal Farlow sets.... I have come to peace that I/we are quite fortunate to have Mosaic around for as long as we have and we've got access to this stuff..... So cough up the $$$ ad get what you want....!!! Hopefully I will live to 80 and I'll drop before they will .... but.... I won't be shocked if they go first...

Golson-Farmer Discs 4 & 6.. I know this set doesn't work for some of this board.... But the more I listen the more I love it... Quickly coming to one of my Top 5/10 Mosaics...

Finished up the set with Discs 5 and 6 today... Overall I really liked this set! Why isn't anyone else playing it? talking about it?

Oliver Nelson Disc 3.... I REALLY LIKE the Musical Tribute to JFK: The Kennedy Dream... Very respectful, evocative.... Really, really nice...

now Disc 2... so far I like it... Disc 1 Oliver Nelson.... Don't hear too much talk about this one ...

2nd spin on McCoy Select Discs 1 & 2... Enjoying it much more this time around....
