Is this the track from Shape of jazz to come?? If it is, I had no idea of any other version. I know there is another tune of the same name. By Horace Silver?? Anyways, I love Ornette's Lonley Women!
Jazz Kat,
which Sonny is your favorite?
You appear to be very thoughtful about these things, and I am very curious.

I'd have to say its a toss up between,
Saxophone Colossus
Way Out West &
Easy Living.
Three very different albums in some respects.
I loved this album when I first bought it. Now everytime I revist it, it's just ok. Sonny has some wonderful playing on it. It's Jim Hall that seems to be uncomfortable through most of the session.
My friend told me when John, Jaco, and Tony Williams got together it sounded like shit, because they were so good and wrapped up in themselves that they didnt get a group sound. Is this true?
I have every BJ album ever made on cd. My mom won a contest and got all of his cd's in the mail. I wanted to sell them, but she wouldn't let me.
I have listened to Turnstiles. Say Goodbye to Hollywood and James, and there's another track on it, that has some good arrangements. I think it's number 7. Don't know the name. I was just listening to it this morning.
I always thought this guy was lame. Truthfully, I never heard anything but his The Stranger album, which was pretty enjoyable for a pop album. What do you think?
Hey, this is currently on ebay. I know $300 dollars is steep for an M3, but this organ's condition looks like its worth it. Can someone, especially Jim or Soul Stream tell me how good this organ looks?
EDIT
oops, forgot the link.
