  1. I'll fifth it. Twas Chuck who put me onto it too (big thank you, Chuck )... The name is Xitel Inport... and it'd be interesting to see how many of us got it because of Chuck. F I find the M-Audio intriguing too.. they go for about 60-70 used on ebay now and again. Depending on what you need, (I am also looking at dumping guitar tracks into the computer), it could be a viable option. g
  2. I'll third Chuck's reply.
  3. Glad to hear the show went so well! Barak and Gali should be further commended for providing a B-3 in such fine shape. Jim, you and the boys have worked hard to get to this point. Very well done!!
  4. It's a pity people always mention coffeeshops (=drugs) in relation to Amsterdam. The city really has so many other things to offer... Somebody mentioned hookers too... I grew up in Flint MI (the armpit of America). I am quite certain that Amsterdam is at least a million times nicer. I was making fun of Jim more than anything else. He has no interest in such "coffee shops". Most of the musicians I know are quite the opposite. Going for some ironic humor. I am fairly certain that most readers know that Amsterdam is a multi-faceted location. SO Jim how were the Hookers?? OK OK, I'll stop. No offense intended Peter. I've also heard many wonderful things about your very progressive city.
  5. He so has a standby... lol What a lightweight...
  6. I'm on the case! Just how many "coffee shops" did you hit in Amsterdam, Jimmy Boy???
  7. Captions please...... Quick there's organissimo...do something sexy!
  8. If it is sent up properly, as I am sure it is, people will come already knowing what you do! It will be great!! Have a safe trip. g p.s. Now a gig in a sports bar on the other hand...lol
  9. Stromberg Newport I have one of these and it is amazing. Played it only once, as, well, I have too many guitars for one thing. And I wanted something more like what Joe has, with P-90s so I got the Monterey too. It is a blem and I paid 900 for it just a few months back. They are normally 1200.00. I will sell this for 650.00 plus shipping, if anyone is interested. I have my sights set on some studio monitors at the moment.
  10. Got the IEMs today, love them!!!
  11. My wife just got my the iem's for my birthday...which is Valentine's Day..if you were wondering Joe.
  12. I am really thinking about these...might have good studio applications as well. Plus I'd wear them while mowing the lawn.
  13. I once took a strat on a plane. Took the neck off and put the body and neck in the overhead. Fit perfectly. You would look sexy with a strat Joe! Yeah, I know.... I am not being helpful at all here. Greg p.s. Could I borrow your case this fall?
  14. I've listened to the whole album and really like it. Lots of craftsmanship in this one.
  15. Thank you for posting this...I really wish I could have been there. Sounds like it was a fantastic time! Great job fellas!! greg
  16. Jimmy is a young and energetic cat. We are going into the studio with Root Doctor in two weeks, then he is off to Israel, then he is back to put the finishing touches on the RD disc, then we have summer festivals for both bands as organissimo gears up for their next studio project (probably late fall), and the James Brothers might release something this year (don't ask), and I am making Jim co-produce my solo release. Yeah, 2007 is gonna be nutz, but fun.
  17. pssst! over here.... drop me a line and I'll hook ya up. Don't tell the band though
  18. Jim, Check out the Rudess interview videos. Guy carries a music store with him...LOL
  19. Some guys score while listening to jazz, some don't...
