  1. The Rollins came today!!! Many thanks!!!!
  2. Zora without a father vis-a-vis a camera...? I have had to reign myself in in recent years. It is hard, but necessary. This little fucks could have had a gun. If they are meth or crack heads they WILL shoot your ass. Something told me to hang out with you at your place for a bit last night...but I don't know why. Figured I was just not sleepy after our gig... I will come by your place tonight after the gig. Hopefully, Flint boy will not surface. But damn, if some body were messin around my house, I can't promise the pitbull wouldn't come out. Somebody here gave some nice moderate advice about trailing them from a distance (I would be very distant) while talking to the cops on the cell phone. Maybe it is time for a neighborhood watch program? g
  3. Wild Kingdom! Yeah, that's it, with Wayne Bennett also on guitar? Cool stuff, imo. g
  4. Sonny Rollins mailed today. SWEET!!
  5. Listening to the Coltrane right now! Many thanks!
  6. We are off Friday....please tell me your are there on Friday! g
  7. Hey RJ, What's up my brother??? Yeah, I will say that Ron is great. And Cannonball was also a wonderful label. I had something, also, by him with Jimmy Vaughan but the title escapes me. In short, Ron Levy is a wonderful player fully worth checking out. Will also add, that anything my friend RJ is on, is a must have! A W.C. Handy nominee, RJ Spangler is a fine musician, benefactor, and a true mover and shaker in the music community. Greg Nagy
  8. I think that has to do with the different sizes of "cigars".
  9. Here comes Chewy ... lol Randy has starred in 30.
  10. In the immortal words of the band The Time "....time to get wild and loose!!!"
  11. I agree 100 percent!
  12. Jim and I were listening to this disc on the road the other day. Great, great stuff!! Btw, is he double jointed??? Look at his fingers. NOW THAT IS SCARY!! But in all seriousness, this disc is amazing.
  13. Payment sent. Got your payment, to the Post Office tomorrow(Tuesday). Cool. Wish I could afford the Rollins. Ah screw it...it's only money. PM sent.
  14. Hey wait...now you are makin fun of my guitar aren't you... you dirty dog
  15. Payment sent.
  16. Greg's "outline" is recognizable from mine, I think. You know..., we chubby guys (or men of substance as we prefer to be called) are sensitive...
  17. Tim sounded incredible and was a true trooper for coming on such short notice. Marci Cisneros is the one in charge of the Salmon Festival I believe. It appears she pulled off a winner.
  18. Greg talked to me about the gig over a month ago and forgot to get back with me to confirm it and give me details.. Uh...Randy. You forgot. It is ok. You are getting older and these things happen.
  19. PM Sent
  20. "...not bad company" ???? WTF!? If Tommy Shaw makes the list, Bad Company should also be on the list...I mean it just isn't fair. But then again, what is fair in this business. So much marketing b.s., and politicizing...and oh... wait... You meant something else... nevermind
  21. Greg one question, when you found this item on ebay, what did you do a search on to find this, guitar or....? I'm not telling!
  22. lol Which now makes me wonder if there is a Donald McDonald. I know there is a Ronald somewhere.... Donald McDonald
  23. Hey, I agree with Greg on this - cool sounding project - and don't disregard a Sabbath tune. I'm tellin' ya - if you've got the chops and you can fit the sound to the style, then you'll get some attention. For me, tired old standards and "common" tunes getting a well-done makeover makes me as happy as jelly pie! There's already an Indian (Hindi) version (sitar, tabla...) of Sabbath out as well as Sex Pistols and a few other wonderful absurdities (Dead Kennedys, et al.) that leave a lasting impression. Gotta love that Nouvelle Vague for what they do too - "new wave" in English and "bossa nova" in Portuguese - taking popular 80's new wave hits and doin' a Brazilian pop workover to them. Good luck and keep us up to date. pop tunes I know we're doing as of the moment: Eyes of the World (Grateful Dead) Signe (Eric Clapton) We're Gonna Groove (Led Zeppelin) Black Sabbath wise, I'd love to do Changes. Greg, if you heard my last band's disc, then you know I'm perfectly willing to do Metallica tunes in a jazz format. And speaking thereof, I've had a hard-on for Disposable Heroes (Master of Puppets) for a long time now. Thanks for the tips, gents! And Sal, some Inventions and Dimensions stuff would be hip!
