True. The first two cats I had as an adult never got along. Rhas al Ghul just never thought animals should be allowed in the house, so Godzilla was never welcome. Still, we managed to live together for fifteen years or so... Did they name themselves or did you have something to do with that? Maybe they don't like being called "Fluffy" and "Snookums" and cute names like that.

The Skins defense held the Giants scoreless in the 2nd half, for whatever that's worth. I think their offense is in alot more trouble than their defense, in general.

I posted this in the DVD Corner, but thought it might catch some eyes over here too. For any Beatles fans, Amazon has the Deluxe Edition of Help! on sale as a "Gold Box" special today for $29.99. Normal retail is $135.00. This is the big box version with a reproduction of the script, lobby cards, poster, 60 page book, and slipcase. Link A good deal, as the regular DVD edition of Help! retails for about $30 anyway. Gold Box deals are only good for one day, for a certain amount of copies I believe. If anyone's interested in this, I don't think you'll find it cheaper.

Is there a place in there to taunt each other, or is that better to do here? I'm already laughing at Conn either way.

ok I'm gonna have to revise my 8-4 prediction. A&M just lost to Arkansas State in their opener, 18-14. Arkansas State!! And it was at home - broke a 20 game home opener winning streak. And it's Ark State's first win over a Big 12 opponent ever (they were 0-14 or something). Jeez... Maybe 6-6 is optimistic now, LOL.

East Carolina upset #17 Virginia Tech today. Scored a TD in the 4th quarter to pull close, 22-20, then blocked a punt and returned it for a TD, and held on for a 27-22 win. Exciting finish. Bowling Green is on its way to upsetting #25 Pitt right now.

Out of curiousity, how do you subscribe to things when you live on the road for what....330 days out of the year? Aren't you having to submit change-of-address cards every week or so?

First college games of the year start tonight! How is your school going to do this year? Lock for a bowl game? Top 10? Cellar dweller? My Aggies have a new coach this year, former Packer head coach Mike Sherman. It's his first college head coaching job, so should be interesting to see how he fares. Most Aggies are glad that Dennis Franchione is no longer around. Not a very bright coach as it turned out - at least during his stint at A&M. The offense devolved/simplified into a one-dimensional option attack, and the defense disapppeared altogether with a crazy 4-2-5 lineup. Enter Sherman, who vows to get back to a pro-style, drop back passing offense, with a healthy running game to complement it. Steven McGee has the tools to be a very good passing quarterback, if they can find some receivers to catch the passes, not having had to do that the past couple years. And remember RB Mike Goodson's name - he may be a breakout star in the Big 12. I think they'll be ok on offense, but it's going to take a while to rebuild the talent on the D, so it's going to be a transitional year. I think 8-4 would be a good record, and head off to a lesser bowl game somewhere. I'd be happy with that if it looks like there's improvement over the course of the year.

Losing Umenyiora is a huge blow for the Giants! I read they've moving Kiwanuka back to the D line though, so that should help. But at the expense of the linebacking.

Pacman Jones was fully reinstated by the NFL today. Hopefully he can make it rain on the field now (and nowhere else!!). Cowboys could have the makings of a VERY good defense, if they mesh this year.
