Well, it left Sacramento on Tuesday evening, and hasn't been seen (or tracked) since. ...unless someone pulled a "montg" on me and took it off my porch

In light of the allegations (and likelihood, IMO) of Landis having doped up in order to make his miracle Tour victory, I think an apology would be a nice gesture. ...FN Americans!

Once you've become a Hasselhoff fan, there are no others.

And if you do decide to place an order with zweitausendeins, be sure and pick up a disc from Wolf Biermann, Germany's Bob Dylan.

I Wish The NFL Season Would Hurry Up And Begin

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL? I am! Cowboys Training Camp starts on Friday, finally! They've got two of their rookies signed, but not the first rounder, LB Bobby Carpenter, who should be a starter come regular season. Hopefully there are alot of signing all around the league in the next couple days. I'm still curious how T.O. is going to perform this year, and what drama will unfold around him. I can't imagine how much animosity there must be for him in Philadelphia still, and bet they're really looking forward to the Dallas visit on October 8th. Will there be a sequel to the applauding when Michael Irvin was partially paralyzed there, or the batteries packed inside snowballs that were hurled at Jimmy Johnson? Biggest question mark on the team remains how the offensive line will perform. Across the board there are question marks, at each position. If they can't protect Drew "Air Concrete" Bledsoe, it could be a long year. -
I think they're only shipping them out to the people who call them

I finally got a tracking number late last night! Woohoo! Oddly, my package is going north, instead of east. Is it normal for a package leaving "Beverly Hills CA" to go all the way to Sacramento, en route to south Texas? edit - AND spend 12 hrs at their facility in Sacto for no apparent reason? edit - never mind again. Just realized the package actually originated in San Leandro, which looks to be an Oakland 'burb. Still slow going, though.

Can you share a stock number for this, by any chance? -
No, what you need is a deck made of Trex. Be careful how many people you let on your deck, Chuck.

I broke down and called Concord again today. The person I spoke with this time said my order is in a box in their warehouse, waiting for Fedex to pick it up. She expected that to happen around 4 pm pacific time today. Once that happens, they will email me my tracking number. I'll believe it when I see it. I guess at these prices this is the sacrifice we make.

According to Apple's ipod website, a 2GB Nano will hold 500 songs (@ 4 mins apiece), or 2000 minutes worth of music. This translates to about 28 cds, assuming they are 70 minutes long. That means you could get roughly 4 Mosaic sets on there, if they are 7 disc sets.

Fast reply posts your comment more quickly Actually, it just brings up a little window at the bottom of the thread where you can type your comment in and hit "post" right away. It doesn't give you the option of smileys or hyperlinks or images or things like that, just quick text posting. edit - I believe the Hoffman forums have the quick reply "window" always set to show up at the bottom of a thread, not an on/off type thing. I can't verify that because their board seems to have been down for a few days or something.
