  1. I would've bought that too.
  2. I strongly second this suggestion!!!
  3. Jim Hall / Greg Osby Qt. (with Steve LaSpina & Joey Baron)
  4. I pre-ordered at Amazon.
  5. They're not getting any mention, but Wisconsin & Marquette are playing well.
  6. I had some Hot Club Of France 78's which I sold for not much money.

I wasn't commenting on your musical taste, but on your writing style. I probably should have said James Joyce or e.e. cunmmings. Sadly all my vinyl is long gone for $$$. But - I do have all of the Baby Face BN on CD.

  9. Hard to pick just one. I guess you could try one of the "Broadway" CDs on Winter & Winter.
  10. Jonathan Evison: West Of Here
  11. Rollins: You Don't Know What Love Is (from Saxophone Colossus)
  12. That's the one I remember as being good, but it's been a long time since I've heard it.
  13. Sorry to here this. I've been listening to the Brubeck / Rushing & West Side Story CDs recently.
  14. Good book. The movie could be O.K..
  15. I'd go to that.
  16. It's the April issue. Interesting even though I disagree with some of it.
  17. Arnaldur Indridason: The Draining Lake
  18. O.K. - I'm going to get it too.
  19. That remark is rather common on many amazon listings. Really? I don't think I've ever seen it for music on Amazon US. But maybe I don't often search for stuff that's likely to be backordered. I tend to think Stefan isn't far off the mark - could these be manufactured on demand? I've seen it. Last time was on a vocal CD by a singer named Lykke Li (great name BTW).
  20. That's the one I have.
  21. I love Alfie too. Not quite the 60's - Rollins: Aix En Provence (March 11, 1959) with Henry Grimes & Kenny Clarke.
  22. Rollins: You Don't Know What Love Is (from Saxophone Colossus)
