  1. The 2nd Triage CD (Okka Disk 12052) was Tom Hull's "pick hit" in his recent consumer guide in The Village Voice. I know that's not what this thread was about but couldn't resist follow-up to the preceding post.
  2. Great CD. Glad I have it.
  3. That's a different (IMHO better) CD.
  4. Depends on what you're using it for. I can't choose.
  5. Is that Back In New York the same as the new one on Concord in the US??
  6. I have Vol. 1,2 &3. I'll eventually get the other 2 volumes. Excellent music.
  7. The Barnes & Noble site now says that new copies are not available. Amazon lists it as shipping in 1-3 weeks at the same price ($45 US) as on the publishers (Parkside) site. Booksamillion doesn't list it at all. Will watch & wait but if no one discounts it, I'll eventually get it from the publisher.
  8. I agree with Lon. Eventually you'll want both nights.
  9. Finally something to get on Concord. It's been a while for me.
  10. I take an antioxidant / mineral supplement combination called LifePak twice a day. Also a few other targeted items.
  11. Maximum City (Bombay Lost & Found) by Suketu Mehta
  12. Sam's still out there "touring" at his age. Looking forward to seeing him in Albuquerque in May in a trio context.
  13. $2.35 per gallon for regular unleaded here in Santa Fe. If I'm going to Albuquerque (e.g. to see Cecil Taylor on Saturday), I stop at Santa Domingo pueblo where it's usually 20 cents a gallon less because they're exempt from certain taxes.
  14. If you haven't heard Dominick Farinacci yet you should. The Venus CDs are all "reissues" of recent releases in a different format - ?paper sleeves, ?hybrids (I'm not sure). They're available in jewel cases with the same music for a lot less.
  15. Nope - not me.
  16. Thanks guys. I didn't know you cared.
  17. I'm just interested to see if you get it at all. I've never heard of this vendor.
  18. Chocolate & lemon or Bombay Sapphire Gin & ice cubes
  19. I wanted AEC with Fontella Bass, but it was backordered at CD Universe & too expensive at Dusty Groove. So - I got it at cheap-cds (which I hadn't used in ages) with a few others to make the S&H more palatable.
  20. Mine would be by Miles too - but it probably would be Round About Midnight or one from the Prestige series - maybe Cookin'.
  21. Good people in the band. I'd be optimistic.
  22. I'm not a big fan, but I do like the album with Lem Winchester.
  23. This is subjective (what isn't?), but he comes across to me as just "too hip". I don't like Mark Murphy either.
